Dog Walking & Training Operating Policies
Dog Walking / Training - will be called “Class”.
Dog Fitness Coach will be referenced as Trainer.
Classes need to be paid for before attending class. Registrations sent without payment may not be held if payment isn't received within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. Classes will not be conducted without a waiver signed.
Snow day /Sick day policy - Oh Behave! LLC is a family-based business. A class might be canceled at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. We will always try to give at least 24 hours notice (preferably more). The class will be rescheduled.
Once your payment has been processed we have a “no refund” policy. Exceptions to this policy will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the refund will not include the credit card processing fee.
Families and children are encouraged to be a part of classes. However, young children must be supervised by an additional adult, so the primary handler of the dog can devote their full attention to class.
Oh Behave! LLC reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate the participation of class of any person or dog deemed detrimental to the business or its objectives. If, termination occurs by Oh Behave! LLC, there will be a refund of non-conducted classes. A refund will not be granted if a registered dog is excused from class for an illness.
We understand that sometimes things come up and you cannot make your scheduled appointment. If this is the case, we ask for a 5-hour notice before canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Without this 5-hour notice, the class will be marked as completed, billed, and forfeited. Of course, we understand that emergencies happen and people and dogs get sick. This will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. If your dog is sick, please notify Oh Behave! LLC ASAP. Dog diseases are highly transferable and can spread from dog to human to dog!
If the trainer has issues entering a home to access a dog for a walk, or no one is available at the scheduled appointment; the trainer will wait 15 minutes at the agreed-upon location. If there is no communication within that time frame, the class will be marked as a no-call no-show, completed, billed, and forfeited. If we receive an email, call, or text about the situation; the class will be rescheduled once. If the issue happens again, there will be no more reschedules; the class will be marked a no-call no-show.
If the purchaser of a Board and Train does not drop off their dog on the agreed-upon day/time, the Board and Train package is marked a no-call no-show and will be forfeited without a refund.
Pick Ups/Abandonment for Board and Train. All dogs must be picked up on their final days stay, unless we are notified. If you do not pick up your pup by the scheduled departure day, we will attempt to contact you. In accordance with PA State Law, a dog will be considered abandoned after ten days if all attempts to reach the owner are unsuccessful. Abandoned dogs will become the property of Oh Behave! LLC, and will be re-homed.
Please note that, in lieu of a refund, training time may be transferred to another dog or, in some cases, to another client if the purchaser so wishes. All classes expire within 12 months of the date of purchase.
Dogs in heat can attend class but not in the mobile dog gym or board and train.
In-Home training & Mobile dog gym dogs must be current on all required vaccinations. Proof of certificate of Rabies is required. Board and Train dogs need proof of all current vaccinations including proof of deworming within a month of B&T. Details are in the contract.
